Previous: [link] || Next: [link]Yay! The beginning of Chapter 3, and at long last, we're into the fun part of the comic--when I can actually start introducing the real characters! No more tedious plot setup.
One annoying thing about Gold and Silver is that they have the LONGEST start in any of the games. You can't catch new Pokemon for the longest time. You have to go get your starter, then go to Mr. Pokemon, then all the way back, before you can catch anything.But hey, we're now into the fun part, so yay!
Introducing my first two catches--Scout the Sentret, and Granite the Geodude. Scout's a fun little guy (although he DID keep OHKOing everything I tried to catch. -.-") But he met his match with little Granite. Gosh, I just melt every time I see Granite. He's just so freaking adorable. Every other comic I've seen, their Geodudes are these tough, rock-hard awesome characters. Me? Nah, I catch a baby Geodude with enormous eyes. And I love him to bits.

the way scout tries to kill granite is priceless. dont you know scratching cant break a rock unless the scratch chops it in half? unfortunately another nuzlocke comic maker learned that the hard way.

Ah, I see. How do you categorize your notes, if you don't mind me asking one last question?

Mostly I just jot down what happens as it happens. Stuff like,
Granite used Rock Throw, OHKO against the Pidgey
Sends out Pidgeotto, use Rock Throw, miss
Pidgeotto uses Gust, crit
Granite uses Rock Throw, KO
for battle notes. For anything else, I write it much like a rough version of the script, with snatches of dialogue and events as I imagine them.

My hoothoot carried me all the way through the league. as a noctowl of course (side note SHINE GOLD HOOTHOOT :3). both it and my Sunflora taken on all challengers it was the best.Β
