Description
Hello guys and girls,this is Cureon, alias Eevees toxic Evolution.
Dex Entry 1 (temporary): If an dead ill Eevee shows enough will to overcome it's sickness, it eventually turns into this powerful form.
All Cureon produces, beside poison, many different antidotes to known diseases, as their deepest desire is to heal others.
Dex Entry 2 (temporary): Cureons nature is as cheeky as cheerful, as many of them stared death in the eyes before. If needed, they will use their exreme strong poison as a all out weapon. However, they mainly use the products of their highly toxic body to cure others pain.
Evolves from Eevee when catched with Podaness Virus (after first Level up) or when developed Poison Breaker Organ (planned Gen mutation of Eevee, further information soon)
Podaness Virus: A deadly sickness only find by Eevees as the virus causing it likes this pokemons special DNA.

Some words: My idea behind this pokemon is a protector pokemon which desires to prevend others from the pain it has lived. Cureon produces toxic mixtures and also often searching for new panthogens in order to work with them in it's body. Therefore, it is able to kill much known and unknown bacteria, viruses and other nasty microorganisms.
Design: The ears symbolizes breaked part of viruses. it's a hint to their backstory and body proof of their will to destroy the nasty ones of the little guys. The blue heart shows their burning love for life as well as their deep desire to cure.
The veins are a picture for life as well, but only shows the importance of the processes in the hard working body.

This is a very very creative idea! A Poison type that heals is really something new and I would never have thought of that if I were to make a toxic Eevee! The idea that it faced death is also very nice and a creative way to evolve a Pokémon! As for the design though, I also like the ideas but I think the execution ended up a little too... artificial? I know some Pokémon are more artificial looking but they are usually the steel types and such. I think the ears are a nice idea (although personaly I would have made the half virus a little bigger and the tube connecting it to his head a little thinner/shorter) but I think the tail doesn't fit too well... To me the problem is that it's a little short and stubby for an Eeveelution, since they usually have long and flowing tails. I think you could have made a more natural tail and included that less organic part more at the end... I love the heart, it simbolizes something that has to do with the Pokémon's backstory and that is a really cool thing, the veins too. So overall the idea is very, very good! I just think you should maybe make the ears and tail a little more subtle, even because you already have the veins to "decorate" the Pokémon!

Wirklich eine interessantes Idee, die du da umgesetzt hast. Bisher habe ich noch nie gesehen, dass ein Gift Pokemon, welche ja eigentlich eher für Gefahr stehen, heilen können. Und auch wie Evoli sich zu Cureon entwickelt ist mir neu und interessant ausgedacht. Generell hat das Pokemon ein ziemlich durchdachtes Konzept, was man bei der Gestaltung beispielsweise an den Ohren ziemlich gut erkennen kann!

Ist im Nachinein gesehen noch ausbaufähig, aber ja, bin sehr stolz drauf. ich bin grad im Hinterköpfchen an einer Flugevolution dran.
Ich fande das mit dem Heilen einfach passend zu den Charactere der Evolitionen passt: Freundlich und je nach Typ verhaltensbezogen. Ja, es ist sicher anzunehmen, das die offzielle GameFreak Entwicklung, die sicher eines Tages erscheint, durchaus anderst agieren kann. Ich finde es allerdings nicht einfach, das freundliche und positive Wesen einer Entwicklung mit dem gefährlichen Wesen des Gift- Typs zu vereinen. Ich denke, sie werden es wie bei Nachtara machen: Das Pokemon ist er zurückhaltend und lebt für sich, aber in der Not ist es der ersnte beschützer. Es ist aber nicht meine Art, so zu designen. Ich fands er besser, Cureon eine offnere und freundlichere Rolle zu geben. Ich meine, ich habe ja geschrieben, dass es im Kampf oder einem anderen Ernstfall durchaus tödlich sein kann. Ich bin allerdings nicht der Typ für sowas. Ich verabscheue den Geist- Typen zu größten Teil, weils oft im genauen Hinblick sadistische Seelenfresser sind. Bin auch kein unlicht Typ, auch wenn mich die "coolness" dieser Pokemon durchaus auch einfängt. Das ist einfach meine Einstellungssache.

Naja, ich persönlich habe nichts gegen Geist- Pokemon. Einerseits sind sie wirklich sadistisch angehaucht, allerdings kann ich das wie Banette, welches als Puppe von seinem Besitzer zurückgelassen wurde auch nachvollziehen. Ist ja aber wieder Geschmackssache, wie man zu Geist- Pokemon steht, kann z.B. deine Ansicht auch verstehen.

An interesting, and quite original idea for an Eeveelution! The components of some poisons actually do have some curative/healing properties, right? So, it works! Great job!

Well, I am quite surprised everyone wonders about that concept, it isn't that deep and original in the main idea. I was more proud of the whole parts creating this mon together.
Anway, I don't mind and really accept the compliments. Thanks again! It's really col seeing his drawings facinating others, i it's only a little bit.
I may will do a front pose so everybody can acutally see it's ful design, but since I am not good at free drawing, I used a fitting Umbreon pose on my screen for the pose.
Sadly, I forgot the blue heart would not be seen that much, despite it being my favorite part about Cureon.
I am planning for a flying type Eeveelotion too!

Man, that was quiet fast
Well, I am enjoying the cool and and dangerous creatures of Monster Hunter and Pokemon. I also love creating my own.
However, till yet, I am not into creating badass creatures myself. I am more into deep, varied fighters for good.
It especially makes sense since the Eeveelotion are guys like this too. Even Umbreon seems to be the nicest of the usually cruel Dark Type Pokemon
It's inspired by the thought that Eevee faced deaths greatest pain and changed form in order to survive, now going to do that for others too. Of course Cureons don't wanna heal others for 24/7. They live a normal life while doing that in passing. Their desire is still supossed to be extremly powerful.

Hey Marcel, sorry for the late reply! It's been very busy lately, with the new year and everything. I'm here now, though, so let's get down to it.
I think it's a very interesting concept! The idea of something that is both a poison and a cure is very old and purported in many cultures, there are even real-world examples of it, for example the foxglove (digoxin). Heart medication, or deadly poison? The only difference is the dose. A bunch of other drugs come to mind as well, but the fact that digoxin is viewed as a "natural cure" yet incredibly dangerous and rarely used makes the parallel much stronger.
I do think the design is a little heavy, perhaps more subtle details would convey the concept better than obvious ones such as having purple as the main color and the bacteriophage tail. Perhaps choose a pale color for the body (or maybe stark white), with the blue heart surrounded by ribbons of blue/red (the blood vessels) that run along its body, a symbol or some facial decoration for the face, and perhaps purple eyes. Maybe put accent colors on the paws and tail (maybe make it look like a filled syringe? A scalpel?)
It would convey the idea of its ambiguous (neither good nor evil) nature better, and perhaps line it up as the anti-Sylveon, due to having similar, but darker colors. Overall, it would look quite clinical, all clean and sterile... perhaps playing into children's fear of doctors and hospitals in general. You know, they're so deathly afraid of the needles, thinking the doctors are deliberately hurting them, when really it's all done for their benefit. It's kinda similar to the poison/cure duality you have going on. But those are just my thoughts on the matter.
Good job on the art overall! I think you could practice with shading a little, to give your work more shape and dimension. But remember to go at your own pace!

I just can't say how important this comment is to me right now. It may seem a little attention-needed for some people, but I really hoped for a long that someone would finally apprentice my art by laving some words. I mean, I also like when people saying "cool picture", as it gives me some credit too. But I really waited for someone to be a little amazed my art and acutually tell me how he/ she feels about it. I think thats important for very artist, which is the reason I try to be very accurate apprentcing others works. However, I didnt give my all at your work cause of much business.

As for Cureon, I sitted down and googled different poison ideas with Eevee while looking if there is something like my idea. I thought it would be quiet interesting to give this idea a try, and it turned out pretty nice
I had some more meanings in the design, especially for the tail as a main part. It is supossed to heal others by injecting his created antidotes in it's "victims". I think I need to write down more by time.
However, I just designed and descriped about Cureon itself the whole time, and didn't bring up a connection to Eevee.
The Eevee Virus Thing was a quick idea as well , as I sitted on th description and was like: Oh, no idea how it evolves. It was a spontaneus thing, as well as the dex entrys.
However, I try going as deep as I can
Maybe I writed to much as a reply, but I am just excited right now..so.. who cares
