“In the end we are all alone.” ~Abyssia

Abyssia was in the heavens like the two Celestial guardians we know. She was the sister of Cosmos, and competed with her for the affection of Illuminus.
When Illuminus chose Cosmos over Abyssia she became consumed with hatred. Cosmos tried to console her sister but Abyssia cursed her and left the heavens. She buried herself away deep into the earth of Avalar. Within her solitude Abyssia allowed her soul to become poisoned with hatred, she seethed within the world and her hatred grew. Illuminus saw how Aybssia had become and was going to kill her, but Cosmos stayed his wrathful judgment seeking mercy for her sister, so instead he sealed her inside the world so that she may not do harm. In a sorrowful rage Abyssia tore and mangled her own wings.
While Cosmos and Illuminus created the natural elements we know, Abyssia created her own unnatural elements formed from her own cruel malice: Fear, Poison, and Darkness.
While entombed in the world Abyssia created her own beings; massive golems from the earth, an army with one purpose- to destroy the world. But she found that she could not control the beings, and they slept within the deep.
It was then Abyssia took notice of the celestial guardians most beloved creation—the purple dragon, a single dragon with immense power over all elements. Abyssia set her eyes upon corrupting this special dragon. Sending up whispers from the nether realm Abyssia was set upon tainting the twilight dragon’s minds preying upon any weakness for power they may have. For Abyssia offered them immense power, power to command her golems-who would tear apart the world.
Had he chosen to Malefor could’ve ignored the whispers he heard coming from the deep. But he allowed Abyssia’s whispers to charm him, and convince him that he was the world’s greatest savior and in saving the world he must destroy it. She whispered promises of great power, and vowed she would create a new world with the purple dragon alongside her as a god like Illuminus himself.

Ever since I came up with Cosmos and Illuminus' characters everyone has been asking me if there was a guardian for the dark elements: fear, poison, and darkness. So this is what I came up with for that. The pic is a bit sloppy cause I rushed it. =/
