Don't say that. You are an awesome artist and you should not be down on yourself. This a beautiful picture of Drift and I like it very much. Keep drawing as awesome as you already are. I am definitely faving this one!

Actually, I think this is fantastic. Everything from the blades on his forelegs to the proportions and the way you placed out his color scheme - it's Drift, alright. But it's your art, you can be dissatisfied with it if you like. We'll just enjoy.

He's gorgeous and I think you did a great job. He looks both sleek and badass, but real enough that it's not overly much. He's just exactly enough of everything. I also love the little gestures you did up in the corner there, both as part of the composition and functionally it's neat to see him in motion, and that you can keep him in proportion from many angles. And he's so flowy - what a crazy flexible spine he must have. These new-fangled models, man, it's hard for an old dragonbot to keep up.
(And I'm not the only one who thinks this. Kusu liked it too, I saw! You can't deny it now!)

Yes, *blush*.
I am extremely happy that I managed to transmit all those things you are mentioning: the "flowyness" and flexibility. I wanted him to give the impression of been an agile fighter; lithe body, with just the balance between strength and agility.
I like doing little sketches in the corner before chosing one of them for the bigger picture. It helps me familiarize with the subject I am about to draw, and making them small is good to keep proportions in check. With bigger pictures (where I can't see the whole picture in once glance) I lose sight of the whole.
Thanks again!

You're welcome. Because, you know, it's such a chore to drool over cool dragons-that-were-designed-based-off-robots, and you've been just so hard to approach, what with your politeness and all.
(Keep up the awesome work. I'll be watching if you don't mind.)

Of course I don't mind, hehe. The +Watch button is there for a reason.
I am currently doing another pair of dragonformers and I think they are coming out pretty nice, especially one of them. Although I'm not going to say who they are because I want it to be a surprise ;D
(About my politeness, I have few rules in my life, but the main one is to treat everyone as I would like to be treated.)

OMG, I took it as a compliment! I didn't take it as sarcasm at all! Don't worry please!
(Please keep in mind I am not a native English speaker, and sometimes the finesse of the language may escape me.)

I would never have guessed English wasn't your primary language - wow! You speak it better than some people who grow up with it. Very cool.
We should talk more. Yes.

I like everything on your list very, very much. I think we will have a lot of fun talking. XD
Maybe we should do an art trade to get started? If you ever have the time. (Maybe we should move this out of comments and into notes, too. lol)

Aww! I'm glad you liked him! I was struggling for a while to give him something akin to swords but that a dragon could use, and I thought "Hey, forearm blades!"

Haha that is perfect. He seems like a sharp-edged character anyway so it is fitting.
