I tried out some painting to improve my backgrounds! ^^
This took about 1 hour to 2 hours.
A normal piece without a background normally takes around an hour ^^
I added the black cat last minute since I wanted to incorporate some animal in the picture so it would look complete, so I chose my cat!
No specific reference was used for this, I was just looking at some forest pictures and found some pretty ones and combined multiple pictures together, while also adding my own things, like the mountains and sky, etc. ^^
Probably the only actual references I used was for the fallen tree and the river.
I surprisingly had fun with this, I usually hate drawing backgrounds, haha!
