A kind of concept illustration for a comic idea I've had for a while. I was telling my mom about it the other day and she really liked the idea, so today I felt inspired to try out the style I've had in mind for it: a bit sloppy, fairly simple, linearted backgrounds and characters that had thick outer linearts and thin-lined details on the inside.

If I were to do the comic (which I really want to), it'd be called "Igneous" (earth science was useful for something!!), and it would revolve around the the four main elements, earth, air, fire, and water. This doe is a character who represents fire (she's made of ash and then coals underneath) and is considered a Blood Child, the name fire element characters are called. There's a lot more to it, so I'll explain more if I start it.
