Needless to say, when something you've always wanted shows up at your doorstep...maybe you don't question it too hard. Especially when you live in a city full of weird super heroes like "Hot Dog Dan" who can give people magic powers through food. The world is a strange place, sometimes you gotta embrace the crazy

On a side note, if you'd like to help out a real Kenyan orphanage, you can check out Mahli pa Maisha which is run by one of my cousins and his wife They live in Kenya full time and take in abandoned children under the age of 2. Some of the kids were abandoned in hospitals...sometimes left to die in latrines. They have a couple of children with special needs that are a little older (children that are HIV+ or have genetic special needs). They adopt the children out to Kenyan families since international adoptions aren't currently open in Kenya. They grow a lot of their own food and do community outreach to help teach others how to purify water and grow higher yield crops. They've saved 250 babies, but since it's a non-profit, they're always looking for donations. Consider helping out a baby in need, or at the very least, check out their site and see some adorable little baby faces!
