only the upper left, because it doesn't really fit with the color of the next...I know that would be hard to accomplish and would require the change of angle...but like this the photo is a little bit unbalanced, perhaps....

glad you do...my country offers many cultural and natural beauties to visit, and it's great to see nice shots with the soul taken by people who came from other countries. it means that they spoke to you like they speak to me. maybe you have been there too, but if not and if you visit istria again, make sure to visit Groznjan and Motovun (there are fev pics in my gallery). i'm sure you'd love them too

yeah i liked groznjan too. i think we took a pretty adventurous way up the mountain, and my dad doesnt have a jeep. but it was fun. i actually took some pics and put two in my gallery [link] and this one is taken there too [link]

i never visited Motovun though. i should keep that in mind then. thanks

motovun was my fav as we go there each summer to role play...and i have friends in pazin. btw, groznjan has a normal road down the mountain...on the other side but most of the people come from the "wrong" side just like we did...we discovered the asfalt road on our way back just as we were wondering how this little town does have filters to purify the waste waters and no road

hehehehe the exact same happened to us.
we entered on the wrong road and luckely could go down (when it was getting dark) on the right side of the mountain.
i bet we're not the only ones who made that mistake

what I said - roughly - was 'great picture, reminds me of some run-down facades in Lisbon... the perspective thing always bugs me when I try to take pictures of buildings - there is a Photoshop application called 'distortion correction' that can take care of it, but perhaps it's too much bother..... still, a great shot.'
