By now, the child's presence was highly known in the underground, and many monsters were heading to the True Labs to avoid death from this genocidal human. However, many monsters remained to either fight them and provide time for others or were extremely unaware of such a human. Many paid the price for this as a monster child mistakenly followed them and discovered the truth, they attempted to fight them as the child used their knife to kill him before the captain of the royal guard appeared before them, preventing certain death. In what seemed like their final moments, their feelings culminated into Determination, turning them into Undyne the Undying as they prepared to defeat this evil once and for all. Despite providing a tough fight, it only stalled them before her eventual death as they claimed they wouldn't destroy them all before fading to dust, causing much sorrow to the royal scientist. It's uncertain whether Monster Kid ever made it to the True Labs or if the Child ever killed them. When soldiers arrived, one group stayed behind while the others headed to the True Labs to investigate the situation here, but found the place to be largely empty and even quiet. However, The soldiers had lost contact with a squad a while back in an area filled with echo flowers. As well, it's said that other soldiers were repeating phrases like You feel sins crawling on your back or even saying things like, " they killed everyone...even children", leading them to believe that other soldiers may also be on the brink of insanity. Best be prepared to step into an even bigger nightmare...
