Malachi of Gerudo comes from an extremely different backstory compared to Princess Aryll. While she was loved and adored by all of Hyrule, Malachi was considered to bring “bad luck” no matter where he went, pretty much an outcast among his own people. An incident that threatened Gerudo Town forced Chief Riju to make the decision to send Malachi away.

Despite his background, Malachi grows up to be very calm and collected—but he’s not a nice sight if you manage to piss him off. His favorite hobbies are drinking herbal tea, meditating, lots of cooking, and being the voice of reason to pair Older Aryll’s reckless leaps into adventure.
