Description

Earlier, I had viewed a translation of "あばた" or "Abata", the Japanese word for "avatar", and it turned out to be a fantastic name for the girl: not only for its connection to "avatar", but also being a name that references her red hair. (EDIT: The translation has since changed but the name is still good to me.) Scarlet also happened to begin in S, so I knew right then and there that the boy's name had to begin with B.

I went with Bright for a few reasons, the first being his baseball cap: there's no brighter color than White! The second is that it references his (and Scarlet's) role as the Hero of Light in BS Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets.

The third is on the technical side: Bright's hair and attire consist of plenty of red, green and blue, and RGB can be attributed to bright colors, sure, but it's mainly a reference to televisions which make use of it, and TVs are known for glowing in a dark room, perfect for playing video games late at night!

I think it's a good name for him anyway.
