I know your requesting critiques, but unfortunately I am in no way qualified to give you one.
But I think its really pretty just the same. It evokes heat when I look at it. Sort of transports me into a lulling bayou dreamscape, where I want to sit in a small rowboat and sing Moonriver while a skinny young man in patched-up pair of cut-off overalls and straw hat keeps rocking our tiny watercraft when he leans into the water to catch craw-dads. Then we would drink lemonade to stave off the soupiness in the air, and take turns reading Faulkner by the fading light of that resplendent orange-pink sunglow. Your picture has a sort of otherworldly purity.

I wish I could find a way to paint like this digitally. Digital painting in general is a bit easier I think but traditional looks so artistic and elegant, especially if it's been painted well. Good job!
