Taken at the mannequin showroom in New York. This one was taken inside the window. For me this mannequin is less glamorous looking compared to most of their very beautiful mannequins. She possesses a much more plainer look although still pretty. She doesn't seem to have any make up at all but think it would had been better if they would at least painted her lips with a little bit of color. The plain white shirt looks well with her look overall. Do you think she would make a great date for any guy that is looking for more of the plain Jane type? Either way I think she still holds such natural beauty and what I like best about her face the most is the way the lighting here brings out a peek of her long pretty lashes which is better to see on a larger view. The hair looks great because it almost appears that it is weaved into her head doesn't really look like a wig at all. This reminds me of one movie I saw long ago about one Barbie doll that decided not to be a mannequin anymore and had a life between humans. It was a kids movie, but the message was powerful, that women should care less for image imposed by media and more for living their own beauty and intelligence. Your Doll is like this: natural, different, like wanting to make a real life. I do not know if she would hurry to date, she´s wise looking and it has that kind of class strong women have.

I never looked at mannequins this way before meeting you and Mela. Designers or salesmen usually take care of them for personal interests. Your personification is changing their main finality: they are not mannequins anymore, not just designed to promote or to sell clothes or styles or fashion, they become models. And just like real models they transmit emotions or ideas, expressions, situations, feelings. Suddenly what they promoted is secondary. They are not substitutes for humans, humans are becoming mannequins with all their madness about fashion and styles and all. Is a backwards story told from doll to human. I Like it.

Oh I like hearing your opinion on this I must admit the mannequins they have these days look very lifelike. Some are quite beautiful. I am witness to that as when I would see these beauties in the windows they look very real. I am glad that you enjoy the ones I have taken a shot of. ^No need to thank me. I appreciate new ideas, perspectives. And we only may find them if we interact with other persons alike. This is why I joined DeviantArt. Is a win-win place where we may learn, share and find wonderful concepts. I have never noticed on the street how mannequins look like. But be sure I will. Because now I know about this something I did not in the past. Maybe, if I will ever come across with something as interesting as your works, I will photograph it for you. Would be nice to see if mannequins in Spain have the same glamorous style, care or emotions like the ones from your country. We may be talking about inanimate objects after all, they might be similar, but what if they aren´t? You made me curious, now! ^^ ¿Are you about to become an influencer for me? ^^
Me wise? Noo, I am quite silly actually. I´m more the weird dope type! ^ lol^ But I´m truly into this art thing. When I like something I also enjoy to stop awhile and contemplate. It brought me many times many finest personal pleasures.

I think as time goes by you will enjoy DA and the many people you will eventually make friends with. Oh I wish you could get some window shots of the mannequins in Spain that would be interesting to see.. If you get the chance I would love to see them. I hope that someday you can look at mannequins too in a different way. I will be uploading more mannequin shots also when I can I go to New York with a friend to take them. Wonderful natural beauty. Did you ever see the Twilight Zone episode, (ep.34 The After Hours) about mannequins? She brought that to memory even though she looks nothing like the ones in the Twilight Zone. I think maybe because she is so plain and that 1960 TV episode is in black and white.
