well just another shot from the session with a friend of mine.I'm not 100% satisfied with this one but i'm still uploading it as i think perhaps you can tell me whats wrong with it...

I don't really know what to say being wrong with that pictures. Tones are great, DOP is really nicely used and the skin of the model is just great... I love it, just the way it is.

Well it's a lovely picture. I'm not sure why you're not 100% satisfied with it. One thing I must note that although the title is "eyes", I'm more drawn to the bridge of her nose rather than her eyes (or eye for that matter).

I think the composition and the lighting is really good. I don't mind the narrow depth either.
I do agree that it needs some more contrast though. I copied it and upped the contrast in
photo shop and it seemed to be better.
Other than the contrast, I think it is good.

uhm I'd just try more contrast... it might add some definition without using any sharpening, and that would also leave the "dreamy" mood intact

Also, try clearing out the freckles, especially on the nose and forehead, I think I'd use it as a desktop background if that was cleared up. I think it's a really great picture.

I think the only fault I can see in it, is the blurryness of the chin,
I would have sharpened the whole face, as the angle already adresses the eyes.
Otherwise a nice shot.

well because of the bad light i was forced to use a wide opend shutter. so it wasn't realy possible to make the whole face as sharp as the part arround the eyes. (and i realy like the blurry character of this
