Description
I made Senshi based on Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma. Now it’s time to draw what Necrozma looks like when fused with either of them. Fusing with Solgaleo changes her to Dusk Mane Necrozma, and fusing with Lunala changes her to Dawn Wings Necrozma. She takes on the strengths, types, and signature moves of who she fuses with, and enjoys an extra 80 points to her stat total, putting her in par with other Legendary Pokémon. It still keeps its Prism Armor ability, weakening super effective moves used on it by 25%.
Necrozma steals light in order to survive. Light happens to be the source of its power, and it stole the light from Ultra Megalopolis. It would have stolen the light of Alola, but the combined strength of the island guardians and legendaries fought it off. Necrozma was originally benevolent, but after having its power taken away a long time ago, it has become violent, hungry for light, and in constant pain. If it steals the light from Solgaleo or Lunala, it gains some of its power back, but it still has a way to get it back up to full…
Necrozma’s gun, named Eclipse, goes through some changes depending on whether she fuses with Solgaleo or Lunala. Dusk Mane form gets a weapon based on the gunblades from Final Fantasy VIII, and the perfect one for it was the Lion Heart (fitting, since Solgaleo is based on a lion). Necrozma’s version however, is dubbed Evening Eclipse. It can still provide the same stat bonuses that Solgaleo’s weapon Corona provides (raises strength by different amounts depending on the time of day whenever the sun is up), but in addition, during a solar eclipse, it triples her strength! Dawn Wings form gets a weapon based on Diana’s Crescent Moon Blade from League of Legends (still not played it, but love the artwork of its characters). It now goes by the name Morning Eclipse, and still provides the same buffs as Lunala’s weapon Tranquility (raises magic power depending on the phase of the moon). However, during a lunar eclipse (sometimes called a blood moon for its bright red color), it triples her magic power! Regardless of form, her weapon can still create an artificial eclipse whenever she pleases, instantly making her more powerful. Believe me, this is not a Pokémon Senshi you want to anger when there is an eclipse going on, artificial or otherwise.
Once I saw Necrozma’s fused forms, I knew I wanted to draw them someday, but I had to wait for Ultra Sun/Moon to come out, and I had to try out both forms to see how they work. Necrozma sure has come a long way from being an out-of-nowhere legendary we get at the end of the Sun/Moon, to a very powerful Pokémon. And this isn’t even Necrozma at its best! I’m drawing that form next.
I originally wanted the eclipse on the stomachs of the suit, but ithey didn’t look right, so I changed it to the logos of Ultra Sun/Moon. The eclipses were instead applied to their guns, earrings, and the orb holding up their bow. They were also given three colors for their skirts, blended together just like I did for Solgaleo and Lunala. The skirts were also drawn a bit longer than normal. Their hair was also lengthened and made wavier.
Attacks:
Eclipse: Sailor Necrozma fires a projectile toward the sun/moon, completely blocking it and triggering a solar/lunar eclipse. It lasts for thirty minutes.
Searing Sunraze Smash: (Dusk Mane only) Sailor Necrozma tosses her target into an Ultra wormhole and slashes her them repeatedly with her weapon. This move ignores the target’s ability and replaces Flash Cannon.
Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom (Dawn Wings only) Sailor Necrozma tosses her target in an Ultra Wormhole and fires multiple beams at them. This move ignores the target’s ability and replaces Dark Pulse.
Photon Geyser: Sailor Necrozma fires a projectile at her target. The attack is either physical or magical, depending on which stat is higher. Also ignores abilities. Both fused forms of Necrozma can use this, and it replaces Prismatic Laser.
