Description Here's my take on Azhi Dahaka, the malevolent three-headed monster created by the evil god Ahriman in ancient Persian mythology ! Since he is sometimes described as a dragon, and sometimes as a man with two snake heads on his shoulders, I went for some sort of compromise

Very creative blend of the two very different evils. I love how damn creepy and evil that middle head looks! The human version comes from the Shahnameh, a national epic poem detailing the mythological history of Persia's kings and heroes. He went down a self-destructive road the moment he sided with Ahriman.

Speaking of Persia, do you plan on drawing the Simurgh? She is like the exact opposite of this dude. Divine, noble, regal, and one-headed. As you probably remember, she is my faaaaaaaaavorite mythical creature, and a powerful muse for me both morally and creatively.

I wanted him to have a more human face at the center, considering that he's sometimes described as a man with two extra snake heads. About the devilish features, that's because he was created by the god of evil (or that he is directly under his influence)
