Description
There's no title for this one yet, as I'm considering whether or not I should use it for the cover of a potential fancomic I have in mind (my first attempt at one, mind you).Fandom: One Piece
Character: Zoro
Notes: the background is a manipulation, the character is painted. I started this work way back in January but had issues with Zoro's face and the background. It's been sitting at the top of my to-do list for some time, so it's a relief to finally tick it off.

As for whether or not this is Zoro, let me merely say that we're all entitled to our individual interpretations of a character - your interpretation is as valid as my own, and vice versa. While I do think his hair should be lighter in this picture than it is (something I may fix in future), it's more or less a representation of how I choose to view his character.

Oh thank you! It never even occurred to me that I might try my hand at a fancomic one day - I'm desperately trying to figure out how to use screentones etc. in corel painter, so let's hope it goes well.

So, do you have a plot yet, or this just something you know you'll want to do eventually?

I have something in mind. The focus in this case will be exclusively on Zoro and Sanji, though it won't necessarily be Zoro/Sanji (unless you really, really squint). The plot will also be less of the beginning-middle-end variety than it will be a snapshot of their interaction. I don't want to give too much away since it's still in the planning stages, but the core premise revolves around the price one has to pay to attain a dream (since having a dream and striving to fulfil it appears to be a central theme in what I've read of the manga?)
