Description
Shortly after finishing "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker," I decided to do a fan piece based on the Zelda characters. I had actually been contemplating a Zelda piece ever since I played "Ocarina of Time" back in 1999, but never quite finished a piece that I was happy with. The only part of this piece that I am still completely satisfied with is Ganondorf and his coloring. I can see needed improvements on the line art of both Zelda and Link, and I really wish I had done more with the background.June, 2003

Link's head is too small, and Zelda looks too old.

Just one piece of constructive criticism. I think Link's face looks a little....off. IMO, it would look much better with these 2 small changes:
1) Make his nose a tad wider.
2) Don't have his eyes open so wide. I know you intended to make him look really pissed off / determined, but he ended up looking more surprised than angry.

Thank you very much for the constructive critism. Not that i don't like some of the praise you sometimes get here, but sometimes it can get to your head that there's nothing wrong with your drawing
Like I said in the info... other than Ganon, there's very litte about this pick that I am entirely pleased with, and you hit the nail on the head with Link's face. It's bugged me for some time. I get into a rush to ink things even if I don't perfect the pencils enough, (a habit which I am trying to break), and I am often times stuck with areas of a drawing in which I am unhappy with.
I do think that the eyes need some help. I've never likes those. And I think he just needs an entire nose job. He needs some Nip/Tuck action or something.

No problem. As I said, most of the pic looks simply outstanding! The details, man, the DETAILS!! I mean, you even got the curly-cues (sp?) on Zelda's shoulder plates!! Most impressive, yes yes. Obi-Wan has taught you well
