The Tome of the Azure Inferno is said to have been conjured from the cold fires of the abyssal ice plains, a region even demons dread to tread. Its pages were inscribed by a conclave of warlocks under the guidance of a blue flame archfiend, a rare entity of ice and fire combined. This spellbook contains incantations that draw upon the frostfire of the abyss, offering control over flames that freeze the soul.

Properties of the Tome of the Azure Inferno:

Frostbite of the Soul: Casting spells from the tome risks the reader's vitality, as the cold flames leech their warmth. After casting, they must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or suffer disadvantage on all rolls due to the numbing cold until they finish a short rest.
Blue Flame Obsession: The enthralling power of the blue flames can become an obsession. After using the tome, the caster must make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or become fixated on the tome, feeling compelled to unlock its deeper secrets, even at the cost of ignoring all else.
Mark of the Abyssal Ice: The tome brands the reader with a mark visible only in the presence of demons, marking them as a potential rival or a target for manipulation.
