Literally my number 1 favorite game of all time!I started this artwork the moment they announced the 3DS remake. I was around 75% done when I decided to work on some other artworks, so I kinda put this one aside.
I started working on this again since the release of the remake is close (February 13! or Friday The 13nth ~_~)
Doing this artwork after awhile actually helped me made this a lot better since I was able to get some other ideas from my recent artworks. An example is the background (buildings) which was colored with different shades of purple. I never actually planned that before out since my original idea was a nice clean background with the characters.
So I pretty much had a lot of fun making this! This was done with love for this awesome game!

Btw, I'm a little curious, in how much time did you draw them all ?
I don't think that remakes are always a good things, oldschool games have a little something that next-gen games don't have and that's why you wanted to play them.

Thank you very much! Here's a summary on how long it took me to do this buddy
Day 1: The 4 versions of Link, Tatl and The Moon
Day 2: Romani, Cremia, The Cow, Anju, Kafei, and Anju's Grandmother
Day 3: Happy Mask Salesman, Post Office Guy, Bomber Kid, The Juggling Brother, Banker (Originally the Trumpets and Chest had their actual color)
Day 4: Skull Kid, Tael, and Clock Tower (Didn't spend the whole day on doing this. Just wanted to do something short this day)
Then I put this aside to work on other pieces. After finishing the other pieces I continued on with the art work.
Day 5: Deku Butler and Great Fairy (Partly because she was a tough one. Especially with the leaves)
Day 6: Great Fairy, Darmani, The Goron, Then the background (Like I mentioned, I never originally planned the background. I then changed the trumpet and Chest to match the background color scheme)
That's how long it took if you don't count the months I stopped working on this
I agree with you the remakes aren't always a good thing. I mean look at the games coming out in next-gen consoles. Mostly remasters (Tomb Raider, DmC, Borderlands, Halo, etc.). Although I appreciate remakes, I just can't help but feel like that there are too much remakes already. But that's what I think and other people has their own idea about this.
