Description
The Saisana base-set was one of my earliest completed series. When I have more time, I'm thinking about going back and changing some of the features that bug me now... ^^'Bases originally posted at Sabraelle's Garden.

I like that your bases have no shading or faces, cos the first thing I get rid of is shading and faces and you save me the trouble

I'm grateful for the encouraging feedback about my bases- thank you! When I first got rid of the faces/shading there were so many people that were angry at me so I'm glad that SOMEONE prefers it. It's so much more fun for me to see my bases shaded and given original faces because each one looks different and it's always a surprise to see how they'll turn out in different artists' hands.

tbh I was a bit pissed too at first (we're talking many years ago before I started heavy editing) but it's really encouraged people to express themselves through the bases. The doll I did was for a collab using your bases and everyone's entries were super original because there was no uniform face on all the bases

As for Black-An-White-Bases, I have been previously invited but I would prefer to keep my bases available only through my account/DA page. I've had problems in the past with not being properly credited because users can get confused as to the base ownership and credit the club/forum instead of the actual artist.

actually, if work is submitted into a group, when someone clicks on the thumbnail, it takes them to this page, it doesn't actually remove the work from your page, it simply adds it to a collective so people can find what they're looking for

Sorry for the late reply- I've been away from the computer for awhile... ^^'
I realize that the thumbnails are linked back to the artist but it's my personal feeling that by including the bases in a group setting, it takes away the sense of 'ownership' of the creator.
In my previous experiences with base groups, I found that many visitors seemed to associate the content with the club rather than with the individual artists who were drawing them. I know that I may receive less traffic/attention by not distributing my bases more widely but I'm very protective of my work and I'd like to keep it exclusively on my page in order to keep tabs on it a little better. Call me paranoid!
