Well...this was my entry for the TweedyΒ΄s armaguedon challenge.
The themed digital painting section was The lonely soldier,and i imagine a lone soldier wondering through a empty wasteland.You know...i think the image picture the situation there...after all the destruction and sadness caused by mankind itself,a big glowing vortex comes to end all of what remains...and the character are just waiting

This image makes me feel sad,the soldier are alone and probaly living his last moments.

This end up looking just fabulous; I love the little details like the barbwire (esp the one behin), the fires on the left and the dust particles in the air, those look just stunning. Wonderful work, it was interesting to follow your progress through this
