Forest Worms are gargantuan worm-like creatures that support an entire forested ecosystem on their backs and can reach lengths up to 2,500 - 5,500 km. They spend their lives above ground, consuming soil as a source of nutrition for 70 years until traveling approximately 480,000 km in a direction with a top speed of 10 mph. For reproduction, they have a type of tree-like organ with eggs; when consumed by another creature, two events might happen. Either they excrete out the newly developed larvae, or both go under a long and agonizing melding metamorphosis into a Mountain Eater. Forest Worms are mostly docile compared to other titanic creatures in the In-between. Yet they also prey as well.
