I have no words, emotions overwhelmed me. Your work inspires me! I read an interview Naoko Takeuchi, in which she said that this episode with Jade favorite out of all of the first season. In the new version sailormoon will not be this storyline.

Haha I do love the way the impressionists used colors, while this is only a random quick sketch. Maybe I'll color it later...
I don't really think their story would be shown by the new anime, I'll keep on loving this couple all the time though. You know their story was originated by the old anime and the new anime is claimed to be "honest" to the manga version...

Yes, right, I read that, too. I wonder if we'll see Sailor Moon eventually suicide-kill herself and the hypnotized Mamoru, then...?
- Still, I also remember reading that Naoko actually liked the episode with Nephrite's death best from all the episodes of the first half of the first anime arc, so my hope is at least a littttle up. Oh well, -just- seeing some new shitennou and especially Nephrite material will be worth it!

I met someone online who was a radical supporter for shitennou x senshi... she definitely hates couples originated by the old anime, claims that Naoko was totally dissatisfied with the changes in the old anime series, believes that tennou and senshi should be pure-canon couples and couples originated by the old anime are just noisome fanon... I just wish I hadn't seen that kind of words...

At the height of the Sailor Moon boom in Germany most of the anime albums were translated and published here. I thiiiink (!) this one eternalsailormoon.org/animeboo… contained that interview with Naoko Takeuchi (and someone else from the anime team) where she named her favourite episode from the first arc.
I don't own the book, but I remember reading parts of it while waiting in a train station book store.

I sorta agree with Moon Momma on that topic - if you are vividly and exclusively pro shitennou x senshi because they are implied in the manga, then Minako groping Usagi www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing… or the sometimes light, sometimes heavy UST between characters like Rei & Minako or Haruka & Usagi is also canon.
I don't mind shitennou x senshi, though, it's just ship and let ship.

I don't mind shitennou x senshi, either... at least I can say originally I don't mind it at all. I even liked that illustration with tennou and senshi at first sight! What I do mind is that kind of person who exclusively supports her or his favoured couples and attacks others (oh my poor English...!)... And I agree with Moon Momma on that topic, too.

Oh, I love this! Nephrite and Naru had such a tragic and romantic love story. I think I even liked it more than Mamoru/Usagi.
