Here is something that I have been working on for the past few days. Riding on the current trend of the PS5 controller being revealed and people making the connection that it resembles a woman's torso wearing a tank top, I drew up my rendition of a humanized PS5 controller. While in the process of drawing her, I began to envision ideas for the other PlayStation controllers through the generations as women. And it just sort of took off from there.

PS1- modeling her after the 1st gen PS1 controller (before the inclusion of analog sticks), I made her as a sporty 90's chick.

PS2- I decided to make her a femme fatale looking character to go along with the PlayStation controllers adopting a sleek black look over the grey of before. Additionally, I recall that this console generation really started to embrace the idea of "sex sells" what with the higher poly count and various... physics being employed.

PS3- There was no drastic design difference from one generation to the next with the PS3 controller. So I decided to incorporate elements of the PlayStation Move which first came out for this console. With the idea of neon glowing orbs and the encouragement to get up and move, I pictured her as an energetic raver chick.

PS4- I thought about how much technology is crammed into the PS4's controller (though often supifulous) and pictured a tech loving nerdy girl. Her's was the easiest design to come up with as the PS4 had the most drastic change to the look of the controller.

PS5- What can be said about her other than that she looks nice and is futuristic? I suppose time will tell what kind of personality the PS5 will have.

Cripes, this reminds me how badly I miss my Ps2, what a epic library that system had.

I don't feel that Xbox controllers have varied enough through the generations to warrant the same treatment. Though, if this piece proves popular, I may do one of Nintendo controllers.

Oh, man, that'll be cool.  Nintendo controllers have changed a lot over the years.
