IRIS character design, for My Name is Kiparis manga project.

IRIS Background Information:

Like her brother Aantonov, Iris is a case of a person who excels both due to her own talents as well as being fortuitously born into a life where she was able to put them to use. The reason for this is that Iris is enormously good at reading visual cues due to the WPR’s interference in her genetic development, much in the same way that Kai’s mental facets make a natural explorer, or her brother Aantonov being slightly prescient and possibly mentally ill in his own right. That is worth noting because a lack of oxygen in her brain during one test when her fetus was four months old actually rendered her mildly autistic, and had the oxygen levels ever dropped any lower she might have been born blind as well. In regards to how this affects her, due to her constant influx of information she finds many standard tasks to be somewhat difficult, but she is so good at coping with socialization that she can pass for “a normal person who’s just a bit off”, in her own words.
She is considered an “idiot savant”, to use old parlance. This is in regards to nonverbal communication cues, reading a person’s history from how they carry themselves, ascertaining hidden truths in a person’s slight mannerisms, and such. This both helps her greatly in her job when it comes to VIP protection work and information-gathering, and makes it easier for her to interact with people than she would otherwise be able to with her difficulties. The exception occurs when people are wary that she seems to know so much about their pasts and personalities from brief conversations.
