i wanted to win the price to get a wacom tablet that would have given me wings



so i was crazy to put in lot of dedication to it

sadly i didnt win anyway

but i am proud of drawing it (its my second car drawing)

this is the second car i ever drew photo realistically , it took me around 30 plus hours for this one

so i think if i can drew three cars and make all three into the top 40 favorites in a deviant art contest anyone can do it

i think the third one (80 plus hours) is much better , but for reflections in car the first car (15-20hours) sketch is best

maybe u should check it them out too

well it was not easy

this is the second car i ever drew , the first entry was actually my first car sketch and i tried a regular sketch only showing the reflections of a basic factory color

then like always i tried to overcome the things i consider impossible and since i had one entry already in , i had took the risk of drawing such a color pattern then i saw the red bull photo in cars so i took the bull from the other car and drew it in the car which i already drew

then i rubbed of the boundaries of red bull to make it stand out

thats how i drew

but i have overcome another boundary in vehicle sketching , i really dont know how to draw backgrounds but the next one is having backgrounds and is almost ready for submission

so my secret is i never like quitting , i always keep a previously impossible task as my goal and then overcome the obstacle by trial and error , it is not a 100% successful principle but it works for me 100% may be bcos i dont know how to quit

i have sometimes drawn same sketch thrice just for my satisfaction eventhough person who gave commission didnt ask me to

actually this is the second car sketch i have ever drawn (i am more into drawing people )

though both of them were drawn for this contest i think i have improved a little in this one

there is another sketch of the car in progress hoping to finish it b4 the contest ends so that i can submit it

so i think anyone can draw a car sketch if they want to
