Description Pictures of the swim team with my underwater camera housing. I thought this shot was pretty cool with the sunshine shining through.

Underwater cameras are coming down in price! You can get a relatively inexpensive one now!

that's really cool. Unfortunately, my swim team only has an indoor pool so it gets really hot and stuffy.

I love the way this piece flows visually. The colours are amazing as well. Lovely shot! It's not an angle you'd normally see in swimming.

another great action catch, beautifully captured, the sun shine come from above but swimmer's lower part still covered by light...Great control of lighting buddy...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DevilDiver In reply to aquanauts74 [2008-06-20 12:25:21 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. I was having some fun with the lights. It was 'thought-out' how I wanted to handle the lighting. (that, and it the strobe head is to heavy to hold out of the water!)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

aquanauts74 In reply to DevilDiver [2008-06-23 07:39:29 +0000 UTC]

It works out really well...for the strobe positioning...you could try some ultra light arms...they are really good and durable...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DevilDiver In reply to aquanauts74 [2008-06-24 20:02:29 +0000 UTC]

Thanks.
Everyone keeps talking about the ultralight arms. I looked at them at DEMA, and they were pretty cool. I ended up going with the Ikelite armatures. I don't have any complaints with them either.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

aquanauts74 In reply to DevilDiver [2008-06-25 03:40:43 +0000 UTC]

that's also great....the most important is that you have something to hold your strobes...instead of holding it by ur hand...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DevilDiver In reply to aquanauts74 [2008-06-26 19:00:47 +0000 UTC]

Oh, yea, I don't hold them with my hands. I have three sections and can manipulate them to just about any angle I need.
