After the defeat Hellniko, his soul split apart into ten fragments. Eventually those ten soul fragments became self-aware and formed into their own entities, known as the Dark Ten. Each represents a fragment of Hellniko's emotions, also they have their own magic derived from a specific element.

Heavily based on Yhorm the Giant in Dark Souls 3.
