I already explained this when I did my Lincoln/Ronnie Anne cosplay last year during Halloween, but I can't get over the parallels between the two songs and their themes.

So, Lincoln finds out he was the descendant of a duke and in order to obtain the dukedom, he has to do good for the people of Loch Loud and at first he brags about what he wants to do when he is duke and tries to show a bit of his culture to him, but Angus reminds him of the true makings of a ruler. It leads to a crowd song ending with him on a pyramid of people.

Then I listen to this song from The Lion King and watch the scene again and realize how similar they are.

Simba, heir to the throne of Pride Rock, is excited about the perks of being king, despite his royal majordomo Zazu trying to point out the details and such. Granted he and Nala were trying to escape Zazu's watchful eye so they can go to the Elephant Graveyard, but it's still a catchy number and it even ends with a pyramid of animals which ends up crashing down on them.

The only thing missing here was that Ronnie Anne be with Lincoln during the song and since Angus is a lot nicer, it would be Morag who would take all the humiliation.
