I read the other comments, and I must say that I do love the boats there. It might not be the perfect set-up for a picture perfect shot, but it's picture perfect Croatia. A photo of the sea in Croatia isn't a real photo if it doesn't have the boats! I also love the contrast and the purple/darkish tones.
I must admit though, I have no idea if it's the sun or the full moon. It could be both and both would be/are gorgeous.
I also love the branches from the tree on the left side, with the rocks. Another typical Croatia thing, I think, the dry landscape where the trees and other bushes just seem to grow on rocks and cliffs, places where you least expect them.
I'd say 'print please', but I already see you made it available, hehe.
And as always the words are beautiful.

that was exactly my aim. also to show the boats and to compound it with the lines i wrote...travelling.
its the sun btw, ive just enhanced/changed the contrast and added this BW/purple touch in PS.

Sieht nach einem sehr schönen Plätzchen aus. Auch wenn es ohne Boot noch schöner wäre(also allg, nich beim Foto)
Vor allem die steinige Küste mag ich. Ich hab in direkter Nähe ja nur Sand.

schön zu hören das es dir gefällt. nun ja mir gefällts mit den booten eigentlich.
wollt ja entsprechend zum text bzw. andersum dieses "reisegefühl" vermitteln.
und ja ich mag steinige küsten auch viel lieber als sand und das sag ich,
obwohl ich keinen sandstrand in der nähe hab *neid*
das bild entstand während meines sommerurlaubes 2006 in kroatien, in ner kleinen stadt namens crikvenica

Na mit Boot sieht das auch toll aus, aber ich persönlich mag mehr dieses "Einsame Landschaft"-Feeling bei solchen Bildern.
So ich werd jetzt mal meinen Atlas rausholen und gucken wo diese Stadt liegt.

well yes, i just love the sea, the coast and especially (in) croatia.
just a lovely country. wish i could stay there longer than just for vacation.
hehe i even could imagine to live there
and yeah heading to the sea...i still have so many shots to upload from my summer vacation, hope you wont get bored
