Description I haven't introduced my latest work yet, have I?

So how did I come to draw Raiden Shogun from Genshin Impact?
I've actually never imagined I would be so involved with Genshin and its community. I recently started posting on Hoyolab and as my thanks for the support I've received from many people, I deciced to draw another Genshin character. The choice was up to my followers and Raiden Shogun got the most votes. That's how I got to draw Ei who I don't know much yet except from the story quest.
As for my previous Genshin fanarts, you can check here: Albedo from Genshin Impact FanArt   or Kamisato Ayato from Genshin Impact FanArt (sketch) .

Ei or Raiden Shogun is a very cool and powerful character that I wish I would have. Having to draw her was in fact an honour. I liked the time I had spend on drawing her.

My idea was that there were already many fanarts with Ei or Raiden either raging with lightnings or being made cute and clumsy, and so I should draw her when she's happy or satisfied. Maybe a situation where she has accepted her fate and is trying to find happiness. That's it.

My drawing process was divided into two parts. After the voting period was over, I had the idea and made a sketch immediately. It was very rough. Then after few days I made time to finish the drawing. I spent about 2 days to make a lineart and colour it before posting. My own deadline was a week and thankfully I managed to finish in time. Of course I also made some touch ups afterwards.
Overally, I'm happy with the results. It's definitely not perfect but I did my best and I could see some improvements. I was more accustomed to the drawing tools in CSP so the drawing process was much quicker than before. Hopefully I will get much better in time.

I think that from now on I might just draw Genshin world that already exists, since I don't have to create anything new, and use it as a reference to properly learn how to draw. I think focusing on improving my drawing skills is the most foremost step right now for me. Hope you would continue to support me along the way!
