Yeeeah, same here. I stopped shipping DaveRose for a little while, but then I thought... Naah, they're just genetic siblings. Same goes for JohnJade. They canonly refer to each other as friends, not actual family members. So, I still ship it cause it's not 100% real-life incest.

Well, then it's an AU thing anyway so it doesn't count. Whereas in canon, they don't acknowledge each other as actual family members. So I just go with that logic and still ship it.

Hehe, I don't ship them as an Ashen OT3 though. I prefer them as a polygamous matespritship where they're all in a flushed quadrant together. Or it can even be a pale OT3 sometimes too. Other people can ship them Ashen if they want, but I'd just rather have no black shipping in that trio.

Yup! If they actually were official family members, that's something we'd already know about from the beginning. But instead, it's just some odd relation that can't even be translated into real-life terms. Just like the dancestor ships are so alien, they don't count as actual incest either.
Yeee, yes! Erisolrezi as a polygamous red or pale OT3 is the best! It's good as an OT3, but I also really love all the individual ships within it too. I'm not really a fan of black EriSol, but sometimes it can be ok. Just depends on how it's portrayed. I think black EriRezi could be very sexy though.... And yeah, I agree. Black SolRezi is just no. I can't even think of a reason why it would be black. Except that one time I did an RP where they had a silly argument over who's the better genie. That was just for the lulz and could still be interpreted as friendly pale bickering.

Fff, red EriSol is my weakness. It's a very popular ship, but I feel like shipping it as something other than black makes it more rare in a way. Since most fans ship it black, but if you ship it red or pale, then it becomes less mainstream. And yes! Bickering doesn't have to mean black quadrant! That's so EriSo! I love it when they argue and bitch at each other all day, but doesn't mean they have to be kismesises.

Kantula is one of my secondary OTPs! It's so cute, and it's canon that Kankri likes her. Plus it works well with Crotuna or any Cronus or Mituna ship since it gets the people they're normally shipped with out of the way.

Mitula I don't particularly like, but I don't hate it either, since they both are happy in canon and they both deserve to be happy!

I know, I hate how people always ship it black. The funny thing is, Eridan actually propositioned lots of people in a blackrom way, so EriSol has no special or exclusive meaning to that quadrant. If anything, EriVris should be the popular black ship because they canonly were in a black quadrant together. But I'm slightly obsessed with black EriKar at the moment for RP reasons. Finding black EriKar art is as hard as trying to find red/pale EriSol art. Damn this fandom sometimes.
I love Kantula for those canon reasons, and also cause it's drastically less popular compared to it's Karezi counterpart. I'm actually very anti-Mitula for fandom reasons. They treat that ship like it's holy canon law, and finding art of other ships with them is next to impossible.
I've become neutral on Cronkri. I don't hate the ship, but I don't particularly like it either. I'm just happy that it's popular enough to where it prevents shit like Kurkri or MeenCro from getting more popular and my eyes burn less. I'm pissed that my friend keeps reblogging Kurkri and GamKat porn on tumblr! I hate those ships!
I like both Kurtuna and Crotuna about the same, but my favourite Cronus OTP is still Cromara always and forever. And for Kurloz, my favourite OTP is Kurnea cause I love shipping Makaras and Serkets together. Though, I don't ship GHB/Mindfang cause I hate GHB and he can only be with The Condesce.

If arguing or fighting was always a sign of black feelings then Equius and Nepeta wouldn't be moirails. Neither would Gamzee and Karkat, cause all Karkat did was spew hate at his moirail nonstop. That's why I hate that ship.
Sure, red EriSol may not exactly be canon, but neither is black EriSol. They were never officially in any quadrant together, so people can decide whatever quadrant they want to ship them in, and the fact that everyone just automatically goes for the black option is annoying as fuck.
Besides, from what I've observed, Eridan is very spontaneous about his quadrants based on what signals people give him so even red EriSol isn't completely impossible on canon terms. Like when he casually black flirts with anyone who says they hate him... Even if he hates someone one moment, if they show the slightest sign of fondness to him, he might suddenly change his mind and go for a different quadrant. That's just how I interpret his character.
Well, I only like black EriKar because it's canon for me on my Karkat account. But whenever I search art of that ship, I find mostly loads of red stuff and that pisses me off because I hate red/pale EriKar!
We need more Kantula in this world cause it's such an unpopular ship. I just made a new Kankri account and maybe I'll pester my friend into making a Latula account. I'm already going for black Damkri with her Damara account.
Actually, I think pale Mitula would be really cool. Too bad nobody else thinks that way. More like finding red Crotuna is impossible cause there's lots of art of that ship, just that most of it is black and that bothers me cause I don't ship them that way.
I don't like Cronkri at all, but for obvious reasons, I'm just glad it overpowers those other ships I hate. If it wasn't for that then I might even hate Cronkri, but sometimes it keeps me sane in this fandom.
I rarely even go on tumblr anymore, but if I even knew how to blacklist shit, then maybe I would be less paranoid. If there was Kurnea sprites, I would have that on my profile instead of Kurtuna. I love Kurtuna, but it's only my 2nd Kurloz OTP. There was Pornus sprites, but since I love Cromara way more, I put that on my profile, of course.

Yup, the GamKat relationship was a one-sided trainwreck. Everyone's just so blinded by all the hugging and shoosh-papping scenes.
And I hate how most people are so quick to blame Gamzee for it failing, when in reality, that ship was always horrible to begin with, and it was Karkat's fault. He was a lot nicer to a bunch of other random people than he was to his own moirail. It's become a huge NOTP for me along with Kurkri.

Mostly cause it's an RP thing for me where Karkat had a pale crush on Sollux and when he found out about the EriSol matespritship, he got really pissed for some reason and decided to start shit. I'm working on some more Kantula art, and I just posted one recently. People can be hypocrites sometimes. It's even hard as hell to find Kurtuna art and that was canon too!!!!! But everyone is so stuck on their Mitula and Meuloz, I can't even.... ee;
Well, I can understand the overload of black Crotuna art cause it is implied that they were canonly in a black quadrant together. Presumably. I'm not sure if it's 100% confirmed, but it's been implied. Just that I ship them red in a previous timeline as ex-matesprits, and SOMETIMES, I like to pretend they never broke up, but it's just my fantasy.
I'm tired of Cronkri, it's boring and I'll never draw it again, but I still always request art of it to my Cronus group anyway, even though I never actually fave the stuff myself. Just that I'd rather see that than other worse shit that I'd never request to my group.

See, the thing with Crotuna is we don't know a lot about their past, so I still like to think they used to be matesprits once, then they broke up later, and that's why they're so bitter to each other now. It's my personal headcanon, and there's not enough information about their past to prove me wrong. It'd be nice if they stayed together though...

I'm fine with red GamTav cause I like the ship in general. (I'll still never admit that to certain friends because they hate the ship.) I just wish I could see more pale art of them cause their rapping antics and all their pale moments were really cute too. Gamzee just had to ruin it with his stupid pick-up line, but Tavros didn't respond to that very well anyway and then they never interacted again. So sad. Maybe people ship them red so much because it's the only time Gamzee showed the slightest flushed feelings for anyone. But it was still kinda one-sided.
I was tempted to ship pale GamRezi once, based only on their first interactions when they were just joking around and talking about playing games. But ehh, that ship got so ugly later, I won't go near it. I ship Gamzee as two people. There's the sober!Gamzee who only gets his ass kicked by Vriska or Kanaya. Then there's the normal sane Gamzee who can be shipped with anyone.

I hate Mitula actually. Not because it's a bad relationship, but because fans have overdone it and they reject all other ships. I almost always tend to hate ships that become that way. AraSol makes me so anxious! I love it pale so much, and even Nepeta's shipping wall had them as moirails. But when I see red art of it, I lose my cool and it bothers me so much that it's NOTP. YEAH! Why do you think I hate KurCro so much? Cause that ship has the potential of becoming an abusive NOTP, based on canon facts. Well, some other ships too, but you know what I mean. Of course, just about any ship can work in an AU scenario. Though, I personally wouldn't use AUs just as an excuse to force NOTP ships anyway.

Well, yeah. Lots of times people write about multiple ships in one fic, so seeing a NOTP can be unavoidable. But even so, it's still a relief when it's not written in an abusive way. Or at least the NOTP is pushed aside as a background ship where you don't see it much.
I think I overdid it a little now with the all the sprites on my profile, but it's worth it.
GHB is, asdfghdk, I hate him so much! But at least he's bearable when he's shipped with Mindfang or the Condesce.
