I've made a few dolls inspired by this portrait before, but this was the first one without the halo-like shape on her french hood.
While making the first one, that halo bothered me. I highlighted it like crazy on Photoshop and the way it sat on the head didn't make sense. I asked around and one theory was that it was a later addition to the portrait and I agree.
