Oh boy, I know this feel... I'm lucky my homophobic mom actually changed her oppinion! Turned out a nurse in the hospital she worked in, with whom she was close friends with and always begged her to show her her tattoos, is a lesbian with a girlfriend... My mom always said she couldn't imagine being with a homosexual in one room... but realizing she has seen her without her shirt and there was nothing weird, my mom said "You know what... I take back everything I said! Those Gay Prides make them look like weirdos bot Goddammit she's the most fun person to chill out with!"... That's also when I came out of the closet to her for the second time (coz the first time she told me that it's okay with her, but that she sees that I'm unsure how I feel about the person I liked at the time, so she said that when I am more sure then I can try again) and she was perfectly okay with that! Though she did say "Just dont tell granny she will go nuts!"
