DONE! I don't like the fur...>.< It distracts from the piece in my opinion. X( Oh well, I tried fur in my painting. Wait three years and painting will be second nature! 
Need to work on colors and how the relate to each other. ._.; Man, I need to take a damn art class. XD Painted using a standard hard round brush with opacity jitter selected.

Fantastic work! The fur is beautiful (except maybe a little bit on the far ear where it seems a tad scribbly, but awesome job overall!) and the colors are stunning and show emotion very well. The greens in the eye definitely balance out the reds and oranges in the fur and BG and lead you from the face, down the muzzle, and into the distance. The anatomy is also stunning may I add! Overall, an amazing piece that I absolutely <3!

I really like this piece. The bright red and orange backlighting is visually striking and the green accents in the eye really pulled me in. The expression in the characterβs face is evocative and mournful, which is something that some artists might find difficult to express on an animal, but you certainly achieved it. Also, I thought you did a pretty good job with the fur. Maybe use a softer brush with a lower opacity if you think it stands out too much. Overall, a great emotive piece of art
