Description
The young Dark Elf walked for a long time through the abandoned tunnels, what used to be vast and beautiful halls, home to a long forgotten race of dragon masters, in search of her prey. She knew exactly what she was after, and soon enough, the low grunts and a deep, slow voice coming from ahead told her she had found it. The dragon, twice as tall as her, stood right next to her, fixating its orange eyes on the sorceress.

Dragon: "Who are you, and what are you doing here, girl?"

Xi'Fara: "My name is Xi'Fara, and I'm here to claim you as my servant!"

The dragon squinted its eyes, bringing its jaw next to the intruder, a warm vapor coming out of its mouth.

Dragon: "Me? You are here to claim me? You must have a death wish, little girl. Strong warriors have come into these halls before. Only skeletons remain. Look at you. You're frail, wearing almost no protection, and you think you will subdue me? HAH!"

Xi'Fara: "I'm a sorceress! And today I'm 87 years old, the year of my ascendance to adulthood! You will be my prize, and my champion, as I keep you at my side to serve me."

Dragon: "HAHAHA! Very well, Xi'Fara the sorceress, this will be quick and uninteresting, but not every meal can be of high quality. Good bye."

Xi'Fara: "QUETZECOTAL!"

Just as the dragon was preparing to dispatch the intruder, it suddenly froze as the girl shouted a familiar word.

Dragon: "What?! How.. How do you know my name?"

Xi'Fara: "Intense study of your kin, and you in particular. I know everything there is to know about you, your powers, and your past."

Dragon: "Idiot girl! You know nothing! A name is not enough to control me, only a powerful wizard can manipulate it enough to force me to..."

Suddenly, the dragon convulsed in pain, bringing its paws to its spiky head, as the Dark Elf had repeated the name, but this time telepathically, directly into the dragon's mind.

Xi'Fara: "I may be young but I'm smart. I know exactly how to control you. Or do you want me to repeat it?"

This time, the dragon had completely lost its confident stare, and had a mixture of shock, fear and anger on its face.

Dragon: "No! No, do not say it again. I... I see you know this technique as well. Then you must also know how incredibly painful it is for dragonkins to hear our names through pure thought. But it changes nothing, I will not obey you. Please, leave me be."

Xi'Fara: "You get no say in the matter. You will come with me, and obey me for the rest of your life. And know that I possess all the techniques to control dragons, and the day I die, you will die too."

With you at my side I will be able to conquer the dark elves that haven't been captured by dwarves or humans yet, and I will become the next Queen of the Drow."

Dragon: "You really are as insane as you are stupid, girl."

Xi'Fara motioned for the dragon to follow, and the two slowly walked out of the vast hallways. The young sorceress had succeeded in subjugating one of the most powerful beings in the land. As she walked, she could hear more insults and grumbling coming from her new servant's mouth, making her smile. Her plan was only just beginning...
