Description

Meet the third team of guys that have a link to Rin's group of thieves. Rin and this team are a bit closer than Ironwrath since the two have fairly the same values in mind and share the night time better together. before continuing I bet some of you are curious why I got 3 groups. well, while it's true many in the community of having these kinds of games and series of having crossover adventures know each other and make our groups, it's rare that we ever create together. ether due to story reasons or conflict in who's in your unique group. eventually you will find your group of friends with their own groups but for me, I wanted to explore that concept (plus more characters means more fun in movie casting and more story ideas), in short terms it's a big universe out there there's bound to be other groups besides hers and her friends.

This is Lunarpetal. before having theme, I was struggling to who I would place here and who I would have. now that I got both I confidently show this group. so what's this groups deal? well if it wasn't obvious, this is a group of bounty hunters, or just hunters. they have a clear goal of going after a raising threat filled with wanted outlaws. it's easier said then done, which is why this groups is more vicious in battle then the rest. they travel at night for the stealth it holds and for the one who had brought them together.

Who's the leader of this night crew: Granger, Oc, (he's the red creature on the far right next to the guy with eye patch), a changeling that thrives in shadows in night time. he has the power to shape shift into anybody, and any animal in his mind. he's a bit of a wildman but he's brilliant in his charge. he's got a whole group of pirates along his back but they stay behind for their captain's command. he's on the hunt for one who cursed him so long ago.

second in command: it's brooklyn. the red gargoyles, he was one of the first members i picked so long ago but it was difficult when picking his scenes since it was always at night. yet when i decided to select night time creatures it was obvious who had to return. in this story Brooklyn has the phoenix gate. it is fixed to focus on space only but it still has no control where they'll end up.

now for the rest.

Dusk: The purple creature in front of the big white demon. original character. she is the first mate of Granger's personal crew, and is acts like the deck hand for the rest of the crew. true she isn't a second in command, that's brook's job. yet she makes sure everything else is in order among the team. she has similar powers to Granger, like shape shifting, but she has the uncanny rare ability to become invisible. she has the task of hunting down an old crew mate turned outlaw, her captain (and love) has a bigger target.

Wyldshot: the penguin (original character), this member was on the skybreakers since the beginning with Nyra. she was one of the first characters i made, specifically for the skybreaker series. her story is that she's a human that went under process of becoming an enhanced animal to serve the government as a hit man. she works at night and works as an underwater agent.

Prince: white demon, original character. the largest, and has many skills in the art of the hunt and war after all, Prince had been well known to have a number of demons under his pelt as servants. aside from combat, he's also the most skilled in magic, spouting his knowledge on magic. he is the calming voice, his complexion makes him better to travel at night.

Lu'bu: the big man next to Brooklyn. many say he was a great warrior, lived his life but non saw him after a battle with a god. who knows how or when Lu'bu began appearing in another universe with memories in tact. getting this big man to agree to travel and much less follow another was a matter of great difficulty. he tag-along for battle but he stayed when a certain young elfling joined.

Deet: green little elf little thing. you would probably remember her if I used her puppet form but it's rare to have a full body shot. Deet is the heart of the group, making sure everyone feels ok, Deet also has plenty of survival tricks up her sleeve. she moves around the day just find but finds she is better suited to the night. if your wondering why did I make Deetra with those types of feet and tail, it was too make her a little different from her other Deet counter parts. plus..we almost never see her legs and feet. she does wear boots but I felt as an under ground gelfling she would have another trait in the back feet for tunnelling.

Halsfer: blue beast, similar to Rin. original character. this is a character that I tried putting on a team once but it was disbanded when I figured I didn't need four teams to juggle. he is now appearing in the comic I'm working on called of Darkness and light. he's a proud solider of Roku, Rin's future partner, and still has plenty of scenes to work with in the comic. yet I felt it was safe enough to reveal that he is going to become a member of this group. why he's here..you'll have to wait.

Delilah: female gargoyles. not born naturally. she's a clone between Diane and Demona. weird yea, but let's just go with it. Delilah has really grown since her birth, now with her new knowledge she has one goal. to stop her former master Thailog. the one who used her, and continues to do harm to others. her brothers still have ways to go before their ready to join her.

Red 13: the red dog. replacing Cloud is Red 13. why? as much as I loved Cloud.....have you seen his bloody hair?! I have to draw these guys and to draw Cloud's hair gives me carbine tunnel but he's not completely gone. this is not about him though. this is about Red. every group has their four legged animal companion. skybreakers, they have Pinecone, Ironwrath they have the lions, and here the night group has Red 13. when going on a hunt there was only one animal to chose, and he was from the same game as cloud.

Hau Cheng: finally the man in red in between Booklyn and Granger. if you thought Lu'bu was thought to agree to help the group then..you haven't met Hau Cheng. in fact, I wonder how many know of him. if not, let me introduce you. while going through the roster of night creatures it's easy to go through the normal list of monsters, werewolves, vampires, gargoyles, there's plenty that it's pretty over whelming, so I thought...how about Ghosts? not just any ghosts. one that will make most shiver in their boots. Cheng has an aloof nature and doesn't care for much but to get him to tag along they got in a flavor by this guy's special someone and he agreed to the best of his love, (his love has a real good hearted nature.) Cheng has the title of the ghost king, (plus others) he is very powerful with sharp sword skill, transformation magic (he can form himself to a more playful younger form), there's a reason he's a part of china's four great calamities...I'm sure many can go through the few lists of calamity villains he'll be facing off with.

like the rest, one or two additional members will show up from time from time but their not official members. there's three of them, one is Cloud strife: I couldn't fully get rid of the guy but he doesn't fully match the theme of night as red 13 does and like I said the freakin hair is a pain in the ass, then there's Gear the wolf demon: apart of Granger's crew, he's got wind that one of his family has become an outlaw, he's sticking by to help (he is also the werewolf of the group, and last is Malibu: Who's Malibu? he's the clone version of Brooklyn. I almost put him in but the female members are lacking so Malibu is on the back burner. he's just here because he started to follow Brooklyn, seeing him as a brother of sorts.

before I leave, I wanted to clarify why I am making these new posters. well, always good to recap my friends who's in the series with new yearly posters but I am actually making these posters because of their foes actually. I wanted to iron out many problems I was having with the heroes, cause I was shuffling the heroes, the villains were starting to lack and they started to feel like random baddies the personal villains. so I fixed the last two teams before moving onto the villains. before I do work on the villains, there's one other group that needs a look at. Rin's brother Corvo Ravenwing.
