Looks like you've submitted a ton of work while I was gone. And I'm so glad you stopped by my gallery because I need reminders of all the people I abandoned so I can put them back on watch. This piece immediately caught my eye when I checked out your updated gallery. Perfect color choices, beautiful anatomy, and a simply wonderful original image to boot. I've always enjoyed your work; in fact your "Hellchase" piece is still one of my favorite pieces of all time on DA.

Wow, wow, wow...those are some gorgeous hippocampi! I saw this at Elfwood on the Mod's Choice bar, and was about to comment there, when I noticed that you had a DA gallery, and I thought, "ooh, I could fav it!" ...so here I am, heh XD

Anyway...aww, I just love them! I love all the different colors and tones of their bodies, and the contrasty combination of blue with yellow-orange markings looks great. They're poses are so fluid and playful, and I just adore how they're both holding onto that little clump of seaweed! hee, so cute They're eyes are also very expressive and preeeetty.

I'm not usually a big fan of fish-like hippocampi (as opposed to totally mamallian ones...dolphin tails and such-like)... while they're usually more flashy/aesthetically pleasing, somehow...a creature who has a mammalian head and a fish's rear end seems a little too implausible for me. However, although these guys have a fish-like look to their markings and fins, they actually look extremely believable They're also very seamless...none of that cut-and-paste bright, scaley fsihtale stuck on a chesnut horse torso that you sometimes see. So yes...excellent job with these guys
