Description
Having "Cinderella" by Play stuck in your head while trying to get art inspiration leads to badass Princess Peach with a sword apparently...not that I am complaining.

I grew up with an Atari and SNES--no, I am not that old...my father just gave me his old systems when I was a kid cause he's cheap--and spent hours playing Super Mario Bros--though I admit, I grew to favor III...and always played as Princess Peach because--to me on those systems--having a playable female character was cool, and if you knew what you were doing, Peach was awesome.

Anyway...after playing other Mario games where Peach was--as is normal now--relegated to damsel-in-distress instead of what I loved in III, I guess you could say that I don't really play anything but the older games anymore.

But...as mentioned earlier, "Cinderella" by Play was stuck in my head and made me think back to playing III as Peach and thus Peach being tired of being the damsel, has got herself a sword and is ready to protect herself--maybe even go save Mario for a change, lol.

I did my own take on Peach's costume--little twists and such like her gloves and a bit more jewelry--but tried to keep it as close to official pictures as possible.
