From what I can see it looks like you may have gone a little harsh on the shading of her lips and nose. I know it's hard (believe me I really do) but you got to try and blend not just outline; and if you can, avoid outlining altogether. Aside from that, the proportions seem well done!! and her eye is gorgeous!!! Also the hair running from her temple to her jawline is fantastic. It looks like you know what you are doing on that side but the other side looks like you gave up, as well as on her lips. oh and maybe try a Q tip or a stump for the shading for her cheeks... i see your finger prints. Ha Ha! But other than that GOOD JOB! I wish I could draw this well (i usually stick to abstract work). Keep it up! This is amazing! I am sure with practice you will become phenomenal! This is going in my favs.

I got a little impatient with the shading on her cheek I have to admit that's why I used my fingers.. I was using a tissue but it was darker at that spot and using the kneadable eraser made it worse for some reason so I just got frustrated. I did the lips after that so that's why they turned out this way

This is really great, but I'm definitely going to have to agree with yvonne chalet that you need to work on not outlining with lips/noses. You did really well with the shading on the rest of the face, barring the fingerprints, lol, but you seemed to not even bother much once you got to the nose and mouth....? At least with the lips (usually your noses are a little better), I've seen you have this trouble before (I may currently be casually browsing through your gallery) and I'm wondering if the problem isn't your ability to do them well (as in a problem with skill) so much as your ability to visualize them well? I mean, references or no, if you can't see what you want /your/ version to look like, you aren't going to be able to produce something anywhere near as good as you're capable of. In addition to the more technical advice people have been giving you (which, being purely a writer myself, I most certainly cannot help you with), maybe what you need to do is choose your (current) favorite character to draw, and draw their lips in ten or twenty different ways. Play with how you actually develop the contrast line, play with the lighting and force yourself to really SEE what the lips would look like from different angles and in different lights, and don't stop until you really feel like you've nailed it at least once. If you're having trouble, as silly as it sounds, switch black and white - darken all the light spots and make your dark borderlines thinish, white spaces. That might really force you to shade it differently. Play around with it
But, to be clear, you're fantastic at this. And the eyes in your drawings OMG they're amazing. Never underestimate the sincerity of the compliments you receive on the eyes in your drawings, because in more than half the drawings of yours I've seen, they look honest to god real.

They eyes are my favorite part to draw and I usually spend much more time drawing that than I spend on the nose or the lips. Maybe I just need to be as patient when drawing other parts as when I'm drawing the eyes... But I'll try out working on different parts of the face. If I don't have the whole face I'll be more patient I think

Oh my goodness, I'm such a hunger games freak and this is amazing! Really love the shading on her cheek and forehead, and the eyes and eyebrows both look great too. The proportions of her face look spot on. Really great work!

Very nice, the only thing I dislike in this drawing is the connection between the chin and the neck, it looks a little artificial, in my opinion, yet the overall is amazing. Looks like she's worried about something.
