Only until you finally have peace in your heart true joy comes. Money, cars, houses, jewellery, cloths, the latest fashions, technology and all there is to gain will not give you true peace of mind that brings happiness, a matter of fact they will bring happiness but only for a season then after that the human mind seeks for another source of material to bring joy which only is temporary. True joy and peace can only be found in the hands of our Creator.

He is expressing joy as he run towards the lake, his mind is free from cares and worries. And notice there is no luxury there; meaning he needs no materials things to be happy.
