Description
WIP on this varanopid unique skin for that it is likely the first of its kind to be found. Ascendonanus is likely a tree dwelling animal due to its well preserved remains. I may submit other synapsid pictures later on.Related content

Pelycosaurs are one of my favorite synapsid groups. Its interesting to know that millions of years ago, our ancestors looked like lizards!
