My entry for the Summer Contest (you thought I wouldn't make it, huh? I just like to do things at the last moment u.u I actually had very few time )

Sorry for the weird waves on top of the page, it wrinkled in the scanner and I can't adjust it -.-'

Anyway, here's some GaLe at the beach (actually, on the rocks ) for you all
I want to point out that the music I was listening to while drawing this had an important part in the result. I was listening to the Get Your Heart On! album by Simple Plan, and obviously this drawing is based off Summer Paradise (That song kinda kills me these days ç_ç)
And I also listened to the Testify album by Phil Collins, full of touching love songs and... well, it fitted u.u

I honestly didn't want to draw them at the beach at first, because come on it's so banal I wanted to be original, but in the end inspiration hit me and, well, can't argue with it

I like it, anyway I don't think the coloring is anything special, but I knew that already (I used my "lazy coloring technique" ) But I like how I drew both of them, they look cute *-*
And, as usual, I tried to draw something similar to a background, I'll let you decide if you can call it a background or just some random colors thrown there at random XD the intention was for it to be a sunset, but I think I failed
