I took this on the Saigon river(vietnam), i was actually in a boat in the middle of the Saigon when this thunderstorm started._________

I really love how the wake of the boat looks like lightning in the water in a way reaching out to reach the bolt.

pure luck, i was in the middle of a river on a boat and we were surrounded by forks of lightning, so i just waited until it hit the location i wanted. hence the sweet composition.

Cool subject and it creates some great lighting. Its kinda noisy but I assume you had to shoot at a high iso from a boat. Compositionally I think the horizon is to centered smack dab in the middle. Since the lightning in the sky is the subject it would have been better to have 2/3 sky and 1/3 foreground. You might want to try cropping some of that empty water at the bottom out.
