The original characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird all wore red. If you are a turtle fan, check into the original comic series! It was dark and gritty with a splash of blood, like you might think ninjas who were mutant freaks forced to live in the sewage of New York battling murderous assassins would be if they weren't trying to get it Saturday morning airtime for your kids...

Hmm sounds pretty cool. I never knew that. I only knew the turtles from the early movies and cartoons. But how many little 5 year olds pay attention to much else but toys and such lol.

I'll admit, I loved the cartoon growing up, I love goofy cartoons filled with wise cracking one liners like that, but the original turtles were, and are, still the best.
I love that you wrapped their arms and wrists and hands up, like you'd see with real fighters. Makes more sense. ^__^
Nice and dark and gritty, like they were originally supposed to be. I think Kevin and Pete and old crew at Mirage would love to see this!
