Jace sighed as he looked at the mare. She looked more content here, not the nervous wreck she became the minute she entered the track. A show place was the best she had placed in her three starts as a four year old. Two times she had to be scratched because she had injured herself in her panicattacks. Svea had been right. At least they had given it a shot. In her last start she had banged herself up so much it was clear that it wasnt any use to continue and they took her home. At the same time as they retired her they met someone that instantly seem to calm "his" Nut down. She was like a completely different horse. Her panicattacks were less and didnt last that long anymore, still skittish but with the goat around...again it wasnt that bad... now...if only she could break herself away from the goat long enough maybe they could find her a date.
