Description    It never felt like you will ever be away from me. It never felt like you'll ever be detached from me. Never felt like you won't need me, there'll ever be a lonely soul among us, ever be so distance, the warmth 'll ever be so shallow. It never did.
I remember. I sat beside you; your breeze-unrest hair embracing my face. The fragrance, so unavoidable, so addicting.

We looked at the river. the shining stars dancing in the soothing waves…some strikingly bright, some not so. But each one seemed so intimate, to every other. Or was it some distinguished one?.. just like We Were? We looked at them. We looked at the other bank. The lining green trees; the hiding roadway; the occasionally plying vehicles. We looked at the at-far bridge; and tried to guess over the dark coat of mist what was it plying. We looked at the crows setting on their adventurous journey on small flowing dumps of accumulated reeds. We looked at the small dingis cutting through the shining stars of the evening stream. and We looked at each other. We talked, laughed, smiled, joked, shouted, teased and often an affectionate slap would land my cheek! She loved to tease more, in fact.

I remember. Someday I'd read out my diary. She'd hear like a nun full of wisdom and make occasional smiles; very intriguing ones! Someday she'll indulge telling me how she liked me and what an idiot I was. We'd hold hands and walk down the serene streets, by the lakes, the greens. A fragrance; always following her, so compelling it was..
The look of those beautiful eyes I always admired, did leave no stone unturned to complain if I did a wrong. I knew those eyes. I knew those lips, the cheeks, the palms. By heart. It always seemed like We knew each and everything. And yet strived to know more. We never let a emotion go unnoticed by the other half of our soul. No. We didn't.

Yet, did something went wrong? Did it? Was some obscure corner of the relationship not so familiar with us? Doesn't make any scene. This sudden fall of closeness, loss of warmth and growing distance. None of us knew what it was. Just ripped us apart. Makes no sense!
We knew everything. Didn't we? Yet, none of us probably could afford to decipher what it really was. The "We" fell apart abruptly just like this writing itself. I don't know. I don't have a reason. Still I don't. Still I strive to find out 'How did it happen'?
