Thank you ^^ don't worry, I used to look at a lot of reference before being able to draw from immagination, but I think that almost everyone can do this, it's just a matter of "being able to feel the form" or at least things got much better for me once I started to learn that.
If you observe something from many angles, almost from every perspective possible, then you can build some kind of 3D model in your brain that you can "rotate" and visualize with your immagination and then draw, after you are able to grasp the "form" of what you want to draw from immagination things get a lot easier.
I'm sorry if I'm not too good at explaining this concept, I hope you kinda got the idea. ^^

aw no you explain it perfectly !! that's how I am with faces, can draw them from any angle no problem, i Have the 3d model from practicing and observing so much, c: thank you !! i guess i just need to look at more references and sketch more, thank you for taking the time to help me !!!!

Well, when I had to choose a way to censor the genitals before posting on DA (I try not to risk too much around here lately) I decided to use Mun's power to create "portals", wich appears as couples of black orbs, and they have to be in two because they're the two extremities of one portal, so while one would obviously go to cover above the genitals, I noticed that I drew his foot in a way that could be touching or holding something so I kind of randomly placed the other orb there, I actually didn't thought about that so much...^^"
