My inner PW Gigan sounds like Cad Bane, From Star Wars

AWESOME!!! I've always imagined Gigan as being a more intelligent monster who'd rent himself out as a kaiju-for-hire if he wasn't mind-controlled all of the time, so making him a Clint Eastwood-style mercenary is PERFECT for him!

This is scary similar to a straw-hat cloaked version of my Fuedo-Gigan, and that is why I love it! VERY COOL!
I love this idea of Gigan being kinda slick.

He reminds me of Cad Bane from the Star Wars Clone Wars Series.

Hah, Gigan with a hat and cape. I love it. The changeable hands are a great idea, too.

It's a pity he's not interested in using this concept, but maybe he can be used in something else? If you can make the other characters this awesome, I would totally support a series of anthropomorphic kaiju in this vein. Would be hella cool.

I might throw out Megalon since I already have a good sketch already made of him. Though I might have to ask Hewylewis about the rest, this is still his series after all.

I think the creator is a bit out of his mind. This is a awesome concept.

Their is absolutely nothing wrong with not using this concept, he actually has a very good idea for Gigan in his series that I think is just as good.

I don't care what the original creator of the idea thinks, this is fucking awesome. This is exactly the kind of madness one would expect from a Power Rangers/Godzilla crossover. Its a unique and rather intriguing take on everyone's favorite monster cyborg for hire. I'm am loving that hat and cloak combo, it does the impossible and makes Gigan even more badass then he already is. Gives off a very outlaw like vibe that frankly works in a more human centric setting.
My personal opinion would be that ditching this in favor of just sending out the suits ala Zone Fighter style is campy and down right lazy story planning. Either way, this is freaking cool.

Nope, he isn't like this at all. When he first appears, he looks exactly like his 70's counterpart, then later, he's the 2004 version. To put it simply, he's just a mind controlled monster. Sorry.

It's just an artists representation of an already existing character made into a Power Rangers villian. I don't at all care if its your version or not, this was just for my own amusement that I wanted to share.

Dont think anything of it, you had no knowledge that I was going to post this and I didn't know what your idea for Gigan in your Power Rangers series was supposed to be.

HewyToonmore In reply to Deadpoolrus [2009-03-30 04:01:40 +0000 UTC]
His origin is kinda like 2004's Gigan mixed with the 70's version. He's an ancient cyborg buried underneath the earth. Aliens build Children's land as a cover up to dig him out.
